The company was established in 2026 following the acquisition of the SABIC Engineering Thermoplastics business by Mutares and builds on decades of expertise, innovation and experience in advanced polymer materials.

The NexPoint Materials portfolio includes globally established engineering thermoplastic brands such as LEXAN™, CYCOLAC™, CYCOLOY™, GELOY™, VALOX™, XENOY™ and XYLEX™. The portfolio covers a broad range of polymers and blends, including polycarbonate (PC), ABS, PC/ABS, PBT, PC/PBT and other specialty engineering thermoplastics.
